My friendship with Ret. Army Captain Leslie Nicole Smith has grown into our shared mission. We've done countless radio, magazine and tv interviews sharing our passion and our vision. Together, along with our team, I believe we will complete our mission. Our close bond opened my world to other veterans and inspired me to create the Veterans Drone Training Program, Film Apprenticeship and to write my series, 'Heroic Episodes.' https://heroicepisodes.org/ The series is based on true stories of veterans through my research and years of interviews with military men and women of all branches of service and all wars. Our heroes stories include messages of bravery, hope and humanitarian acts. These stories are vast and often go untold. The apprenticeship and the series will work in conjunction to provide our heroes with camaraderie, jobs and most importantly, healing.
Lisa always offers and donates her time to radio, tv and newspaper interviews to help promote the community event prior to her booking.
Lisa Regina's non-profit, A Write to Heal, https://awritetoheal.com/ was awarded a 150k congressionally funded grant from Senator Cory Booker. The grant was possible through the efforts of the ACEA-Atlantic County Economic Alliance. A Write to Heal has partnered with ACEA and ACCC-Atlantic Cape Community College. The grant monies will be used to provide the first class of 12 veterans with drone training, testing and licensing in order to obtain their Part 107 Commercial Drone License.

“Out of something bad comes good. Who would have thought that I would be a keynote speaker in Zurich, Switzerland at the International Women's Summit World YWCA Council!“
"I wrote a collection of women's monologues based on true stories of survival. A cast of New York City actresses brought the stories to life on stage. The real women sat anonymously in the audience and watched as their stories came to life. Advocates provided support backstage as the actors and real women were united following the performance. It was powerful and healing!"
